Maggie grew up in San Diego, CA, and moved to Chapel Hill, NC where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduation, she moved back to San Diego and worked for a special needs program for the military. Maggie then earned her doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. Throughout her educational and professional career, Maggie has worked with children and adults with a variety of special educational, social emotional, and physiological needs. Her values of engaging children and families in holistic meaningful life activities to reach developmental milestones are what drive her practice as a pediatric occupational therapist.
Outside of the clinic, Maggie enjoys hiking, traveling, and swimming with the leopard sharks in La Jolla. She also has a pet rabbit named Oreo that she loves dearly.
