Karina worked as an Early Intervention teacher for 4 years, so she was able to work alongside other pediatric therapists and learned so much from all fields (physical, occupational, and speech). Karina found that she particularly enjoyed speech the most, so she decided to get her 2nd Bachelor’s at Utah State University during the pandemic, and the rest is history. Karina believes that working together with families and forming a collaborative team with other professionals will help kiddos to become more effective communicators. Whether that is by making meaningful connections through social interactions, or expressing their wants and needs to the broader community, it’s important we help them find their voices.

Karina enjoys being outside and soaking up the sun, doing outdoor activities, and exploring new food places. She also enjoy staying in and binge watching new shows with her husband and fur baby, Toby.
