Teletherapy

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is a way to provide therapy services via videoconferencing.  Our therapists will be able to provide direct services and consultations throughout the teletherapy session.  All Telehealth services are HIPAA compliant.

How it Works

Teletherapy is a way to progress your child’s skills sets while overcoming the current barrier of COVID-19.  Most activities conducted via teletherapy will be similar to a typical session in clinic, however, parent participation is a key component.  Although therapists will be communicating with the children directly, they will also need assistance from parents and caregivers to help conduct each session and carry over therapy techniques.

Technology and Other Requirements

Families will need to have access to internet and a computer or mobile device with a working camera and microphone.  Our therapists or administration team will send out consent forms which must be signed and returned.  Once an appointment has been scheduled, a link will be sent out by your therapist which will give you access to the Telehealth portal.

Our team of certified clinicians are versed in teletherapy and can serve your child in this manner with their therapy needs.
