Kara Dodds Associate: Amy

Insurance Billing

Amy and Kara are childhood friends, in 2013 Kara needed to expand her billing department, and as Cassandra was living in the same town, it was a great match for Amy to start working for KDA.

Amy Hathaway lives and works in Klamath Falls, Oregon with her family.  After graduating from college she found her way into workforce development, helping dislocated workers and those who were under-employed find training and work.  She became certified in Human Resources a few years later, and has practiced HR with small businesses, and non-profits.  She enjoys working for KDA and the flexibility it offers in being able to volunteer for many, sometimes too many, local non-profits, and at her child’s elementary school.

She enjoys being in Southern Oregon where you can be outdoors and out in nature within a few minutes from your front door.  Being located about six hours from Portland and San Francisco makes easy access to explore both Oregon and Northern California.  On cold wintery days she likes to look at the weather in San Diego and is jealous of all of us and our great weather in Southern California.

Cassandra P.

Billing, Accounts Receivable

Cassandra joined KDA in 2007 as a front desk receptionist. Through the years she has advanced and now manages the billing and accounts receivable for the company.  She loves the KDA as it’s all about helping the children and their families that come into the center.   She also likes working side by side with Kara, as she’s dedicated to working with each family and their specific needs with both therapy and billing options. Cassandra also enjoys the flexibility she too as she works remotely from her home in Oregon. Outside of work, Cassandra enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, and riding their horses.
